Keyboard Testing & Maintenance Guide

What is N-Key Rollover (NKRO)?

NKRO means each key press is scanned independently by the hardware matrix. If your keyboard has Full NKRO, you can press all 10 keys simultaneously without missing inputs or "ghosting".

Sticky or Unresponsive Keys

Dust or spills can prevent electrical switch contact. Remove keycaps using a wire puller and use 99% isopropyl alcohol or compressed air to clean around mechanical switch stems.

Wrong Characters Appearing

If keys register different symbols than what is printed on your physical keycaps, check your OS input language layout (e.g. US QWERTY vs UK English, AZERTY, or Dvorak).
